Amara’s Hat

I attempted many hats for Baby Amara, it was really hard for me to get the right sizing and texture. Some patterns came out too stiff and stood straight up, some turned out way too big.

I ended up picking this adorable pattern by Kat Goldin on Ravelry. I used Lion Brand Unique yarn in Mirage. This yarn is so pretty, the colors are amazing. I didn’t want to add the owl features to the hat so I just followed the basic pattern. With a yarn this pretty, the owl pattern would have taken away from it.
